I ventured down to South West France for a week to film incredible waves and watch the Quiksilver Surf Festival. Here's what One Week in Hossegor produced.

Liam followed Guernsey Island Games athlete, Alastair Chalmers from his preparations all the way through to his podium finish. This up close and personal documentary captures every raw emotion, allowing the audience to feel like they were there.

Food filming is a real passion of Liam’s as it allows him to be creative and play with lighting and cinematography to ensure the food being filmed looks just as good as it tastes.

China Red brought Liam in to capture a few incredible dishes, showcasing the food that this restaurant has become famous for.

Otto came to Liam with the brief that they wanted to promote the Bakery section at the Restaurant, however they didn’t want the usual promotional film with a bit of music and bright lights.

Liam came back with the idea of a documentary style film. Getting there at 4am, he worked with the baker, Sarah, capturing every detail that goes into how the bread and pastries are made at Otto to create this truly unique film.

“This was an incredible production to work on, as it really let me use the knowledge I had gained from working on big commercials in the film industry. Using lighting and careful cinematography, I really feel like this is one of my favourite films I have made.”

Liam regularly works with Tiffany Anna Art who has shot to the top of Guernsey’s creative scene through her bright and bold artwork.

Shot during the span of a year, this film explores the guernsey and the people who put their heart and souls into making the garment at Le Tricoteur.

Cam Chalmers is an Olympic 400 metre runner who competed at the Tokyo Olympics for Great Britain, helping to set a new record for the 400m mixed relay. This short documentary explores what goes through his mind before, during and after a race.

One Day In October, Hurricane Sam delivered waves to the small Island of Guernsey. Fickle spots were alight for a few hours only, as the powerful swell rolled in. Waves were small, but the ever present group of committed surfers made the best out of it.
